IN PURSUIT…
Our Mission
Vision Statement
Mission Statement
In pursuit of excellence in education, the mission of CCS is: To assist Christian parents by helping equip students to embrace biblical truth, strive for academic excellence, and model Christ-like leadership to influence their homes, churches, and communities for Christ.
Core Values
In order to successfully fulfill the mission, Christian Community Schools will
give priority to seven core values. Each core value must have operating principles
that will allow CCS to put these values into everyday practice in every aspect of its educational program.
These core values constitute a guide if CCS is to achieve its mission:
#1 The Bible
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness
-2 Timothy 3:16
#5 Service
Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be the first must be your slave – just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many
(see Matthew 20:26-28)
#2 Christ-likeness
He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked
-1 John 2:6
#6 Excellence
A quality education is Bible-based, Christ-centered and one that challenges students to reach their full potential and develop godly wisdom in order to use their God-given abilities to impact their homes, churches, and communities for Christ.
(see Luke 2:52)
#3 Christian Family
The Christian Family is God’s training ground for preparing future generations to know and serve Jesus Christ
(see Deuteronomy 6:6-9)
#7 Stewardship
Every aspect of the education program must be considered a stewardship responsibility from God so that a biblical legacy will be successfully passed from one generation to the next
(see Colossians 3:23-24)
#4 Church
The church has been and always will be the instrument of God to fulfill God’s purposes here on earth. The church is the expression of God’s kingdom to the world (see Acts 2:42-47)
What We Believe
The CCS School Committee adheres to the following as our Statement of Faith and expects all faculty and students to live their lives based upon these spiritual principles:
THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God.
GOD
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
JESUS
We believe in the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
SALVATION
We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature. People are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God’s grace and through faith, are we saved.
ETERNITY
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
UNITY
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
SANCTIFICATION
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
