High School

Solidifying Their Worldview, Shaping Their Lives

High school is the launching pad where students solidify their worldview, discover their gifts, and make choices that will shape the rest of their lives.

Parents who choose CCS are looking for more than preparation for college or career; they desire for their students to be equipped to stand firm in their convictions, think critically about culture, and lead with integrity in a world that often rewards compromise.

Our mission is to graduate young men and women who know who they are in Christ and are prepared to engage the world without losing their faith.

What Your School Student Will Experience

By high school, students are not just wrestling with whether they believe. They are learning to defend why they believe.

At CCS, students are equipped to go into the world and engage thoughtfully with professors, peers, and cultural voices that may challenge their beliefs. They are prepared to wrestle with questions about suffering, science, social movements, and Scripture with clarity, discernment, and a strong biblical foundation.

We do not shelter them from these challenges. We prepare them for it.

This preparation means:

  • Teachers who model authentic faith and are not afraid to address the hardest objections to Christianity
  • Bible classes that that equip students to defend their faith with clarity and confidence
  • Biblical electives like apologetics, ethics, Greek, and early church history that go deeper than Sunday school answers
  • Weekly chapel services where they worship corporately and are challenged to live boldly for Christ
  • Mission experiences and service opportunities that move faith from theory to practice

We want students who graduate confident in what they believe, able to articulate why with both grace and conviction, and willing to stand for truth even when it costs them something.

High school is where character stops being theoretical and becomes who you are when no one is watching.

Students face real temptation in the real world today, along with real pressure to compromise for acceptance or advantage. They are making real decisions about the kind of people they will be as they step beyond our classrooms.

We are intentional about forming character that lasts:

  • Beta Club transforms honor society into hands-on service. Students adopt families at Christmas, shopping for groceries and gifts to meet real needs.
  • Students have the opportunity to participate in a weekly student-led Bible study where they gather to read Scripture, pray together, and encourage one another in their faith. These moments help them grow spiritually, build authentic friendships, and learn to take ownership of their walk with Christ.
  • Reading Buddies pairs high schoolers with elementary students, teaching them to mentor, encourage, and lead by serving.
  • Community Service ensures every graduate has practiced sacrificial service.

Our goal is to prepare graduates who are grounded in what is right and guided to live it out as they navigate an ever changing culture from the unchanging perspective of God’s Word. We seek to develop leaders who serve with humility and reflect Christ in how they treat others, make decisions, and steward their gifts.

High school students need substantive academics that prepare them for whatever God has next, whether that is university, vocational training, military service, or launching directly into their calling.

We do not water down expectations. We challenge students to think deeply, write clearly, solve complex problems, and engage ideas critically and through the lens of Scripture.

Students graduate ready because:

  • They have completed coursework that meets and exceeds college prep standards.
  • They have taken Biblical electives like apologetics and ethics that deepen their faith while developing critical thinking
  • They have been assessed on what they know and on how they apply it in real-world contexts
  • They have learned to think critically, analyze arguments, evaluate evidence, and articulate positions with clarity

Beyond the Classroom

Students can earn college credit through our partnership with Bethel University, getting a head start on their degree while saving thousands of dollars in tuition.

Dual enrollment courses count for both high school graduation and college credit, allowing motivated students to enter university with a semester or more already completed. They are learning at a college level, building confidence for the transition, and reducing the financial burden of higher education.

Every student participates in community service before graduation. Students serve at local ministries, tutor younger students, assist at community events, and practice what it means to give of themselves sacrificially. Many discover their calling through service. Others simply learn that following Christ means showing up when others need you.

Through Student Government, Beta Club, FFA, and the Worship Team, students learn to lead. They organize events, mentor younger students, plan service projects, and take an active role in leading Chapel—learning what it means to use influence for good and for God’s glory.

The student retreat creates space away from daily distractions to encounter God deeply through worship, teaching, and reflection. This extended time together builds unity, deepens faith, and often become a turning point in students' spiritual journeys.

What Graduation Day Looks Like

Picture this: Your student walks across the stage in cap and gown. They have completed four years of rigorous academics. They have served their community, led their peers, and grown in their faith.

They are heading to college with credits already on their transcript or launching into vocational training, military service, or ministry. They know who they are in Christ. They can articulate what they believe and why. They are ready to engage a broken world with truth, compassion, and courage.

They are True to God's Word. Resolute in the Faith. Active Physically and Spiritually. Intellectually Driven. Noble-minded. Understanding with Wisdom. Prayerfully Dependent on God.

They are a Colt.

And they are ready for whatever comes next.

Come See High School at CCS

High school is too important to leave to chance. We would love to show you what it looks like when students are challenged academically, formed spiritually, and known personally.
