Middle school students stand at a crossroads, no longer children but not yet adults. These are the years when they begin to understand who they are, what they believe, and where they belong. Friendships deepen, confidence grows, and personal values and beliefs begin to take shape.
Parents who choose CCS seek a school that helps students thrive during this pivotal season, one that challenges them intellectually without overwhelming them and that surrounds them with caring mentors and friends who point them toward Christ. The goal is for each student to emerge confident in who God created them to be, grounded in truth, marked by character, and prepared for what comes next. Here is what that space looks like.
Middle school is often when faith becomes personal for the first time.
Here is what that looks like:
We want students to finish middle school knowing Jesus personally, not just academically.
Middle school is when character is forged.
We are intentional about forming character that lasts:
Our goal is to nurture leadership, integrity, empathy, humility, and courage in our students.
Middle school is when learning shifts.
Students move from memorizing facts to thinking critically, from absorbing information to analyzing ideas, from concrete thinking to abstract reasoning. It is a major transition, and we walk them through it carefully.
Students experience:
We teach them how to think, not just what to think. Students develop the ability to evaluate ideas through Scripture, discern truth from error, and apply wisdom in real life.
Select middle school students are paired with a preschool student through our Reading Buddies program. Once a week, they sit together as the older student reads aloud, helps with letters and sounds, and models patience and kindness.
Middle school can feel lonely and confusing. Students are navigating shifting friendships, social media pressures, and cultural messages telling them who they should be.
At CCS, they are not alone.
Teachers pray for students by name. They notice when something is off and create space to talk about it. They celebrate growth and walk with students through struggles.
Parents connect with one another, building friendships that extend beyond school. Students form bonds with classmates who share their faith and encourage them toward Christ.
This is more than a school. It is a family that knows them, values them, and walks with them as they figure out who God made them to be.
