These are the years when wonder runs wild. When every bug is fascinating, every stick becomes a toy, and every day holds new discoveries.
As a parent, you want your child's first school experience to be more than glorified daycare. You want them nurtured by teachers who genuinely love them. You want them learning in a safe, joy-filled environment where faith is not an afterthought. It is the foundation.
That is exactly what happens here.
Our preschool teachers are called to shepherd little ones. Many have been at CCS for years, building trust with families, creating stability for children, and pouring their hearts into every classroom moment.
When you drop your child off in the morning, you will see the same smiling faces greeting them. Teachers who know their name, their personality, their favorite song, and how they like to be comforted when they are sad.
That kind of consistency builds security. And for young children, security is the soil where learning and growth flourish.
Our preschool sits on a professionally maintained, secure campus with locked entry points and an on-site School Resource Officer ensuring daily safety.
Classrooms are bright, clean, and designed for little learners. Each space is filled with age-appropriate materials, natural light, and spaces that encourage exploration. Children feel safe enough to take risks, ask questions, and try new things.
Outside, you will find shaded playgrounds with equipment built for their developmental stage. And because our campus spans 46 acres, there is plenty of room for scavenger hunts, nature walks, and outdoor adventures that let curiosity run free.
Our Preschool students use Abeka curriculum as our foundation. This trusted, structured approach prepares children academically. But our teachers go beyond the book.
Learning happens through songs, movement, art, hands-on experiments, and play. When children sing the alphabet, build with blocks, sort colors, or dig in the dirt, they are developing fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, language, and early math concepts.
We let them be children. And they learn more through play than they ever would through worksheets and drills.
CCS Preschool families participate in Homecoming, Book Fair, Grandparents Day, and the Daddy-Daughter Dance. Each one is an opportunity for children to experience joy, generosity, and community.
Every year, our preschool families honor community heroes by creating Thank You baskets. Even at this young age, children begin learning what it means to serve others and express gratitude.
When spring arrives, you might find your child outside with classmates on a scavenger hunt searching for pinecones, flowers, and treasures across campus.
From day one, your preschooler is part of the CCS community.
When there is a school-wide chapel service, they are there learning to worship alongside older students. When middle schoolers come to read with preschoolers as part of our Reading Buddies program, your child experiences what it looks like to be mentored, encouraged, and welcomed by someone older.
Your child begins to see themselves as part of a family that extends beyond their classroom and will walk with them all the way through graduation.
