Spiritual Development

Our Approach

CCS embraces a holistic approach to education, believing that faith formation, character development, and moral excellence, as well as academic achievement are all vital aspects of the educational process… preparing the student for both life and eternity.

CHAPEL

Students have the privilege to attend weekly chapels (sometimes more than once per week). Chapel services feature times of worship, prayer, and preaching.

ELEMENTARY BIBLE

Every student, every year, every week, are taught the Bible. Our elementary teachers use A Beka curriculum which emphasizes Bible stories, Bible memory, and a practical application.

MIDDLE SCHOOL BIBLE

Middle school students are invited on a journey to rediscover the truth of God’s Word from front to back through survey classes.

HIGH SCHOOL BIBLE

High-schoolers go deep… developing a Christian worldview, understanding Bible doctrines, and learning high-level apologetics.

NEXT LEVEL

It’s not enough to learn ABOUT our faith, we must learn it by DOING. The Apostle James warned of a self-deceiving, vain religion where people only hear the Word of God but never act on it.

Students are given many opportunities each semester to further develop their faith by expressing partnership with their fellow-students (i.e. – small groups) and by serving their community
(i.e. – service projects).
