What we Believe

Our Faith is the Foundation

At Christian Community Schools, our faith is the foundation of everything we do. We exist to partner with families and churches to disciple students in Christ and prepare them for a life of influence.

Mission Statement

We TRAIN-UP children in the way they should go, the truth they should know, and the life they are called to live. “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6 Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” — John 14:6

Vision Statement

To produce a generation of faithful Christians who are spiritually, intellectually, and morally prepared to be ambassadors for Christ in a broken world.

Portrait of a CCS Graduate

All schools, including CCS, aim to cultivate both college preparatory skills and essential life competencies. Yet we recognize that the full picture of a graduating senior’s character, work ethic, and academic ability is still unfolding, as growth in mind, heart, and maturity continues throughout one’s life. Scripture reminds us in Luke 2:52 that even Jesus grew in wisdom, stature, and in favor with God and man—maturing in all aspects of life. While parents are the primary shapers of a child’s development, the school also plays a significant and formative role. It is our prayer that students graduate from CCS embodying the foundational qualities outlined in our Portrait of a CCS Graduate. We guide students to grow in heart, mind, body, and spirit through our TRAIN-UP model.

Core Values

We believe every student is:

  • Created by God and made in His image and for His glory (Genesis 2:7)
  • Fallen in sin and in need of redemption through Christ (Romans 5:12)
  • Saved by Christ through His sacrifice and resurrection (1 Peter 3:18)
  • Renewed by the Word, growing in truth and righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
  • Led by the Spirit, empowered to live a godly life (Romans 8:1-2)
  • Taught by the Church, built up in faith and community (1 Timothy 3:15)
  • Stewarded by the Family with parents as the primary disciples of their children (Genesis 18:19)
  • Serving the Community as ambassadors of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18-21)

Statement of Faith

1. We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

2. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30).

3. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the deity of Christ (John 10:33), His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35), His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, Hebrews 7:26), His miracles (John 2:11), His vicarious and atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9), His resurrection (John 11:25, 1 Corinthians 15:4), His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19), and His personal return in power and glory to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11).

4. We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature and that people are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God's grace and through faith are we saved (John 3:16-21; John 5:24; Romans 3:23, 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5). We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:13-14; 1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20; Ephesians 4:30).

5. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal separation from God (John 5:28-29).

6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, Galatians 3:26-28).
