At Christian Community Preschool we will encourage each child to reach his or her full potential by teaching with a Biblical worldview and by believing that Christian education excels in academics and character development. Each administrator, teacher and member of the supporting staff has a genuine interest in our students and desire to offer the best learning and fun environment of caring support.
Students at Christian Community Preschool are taught using the ABeka curriculum. At every age level, students are instructed in the 5 developmental domains. Our TECTA certified teachers facilitate learning in the spiritual, cognitive, language, motor, and social/emotional areas to educate the whole child.
The ABeka curriculum enables the children to receive a strong foundation academically and spiritually. The students learn numbers, letters, phonics, art, music, language, science, handwriting and poetry. The K4 students even learn to read– reading circles begin in January of each year!
The safety and well-being of our students are our utmost concerns. CCS has campus-wide security cameras, including coverage for all doors and playground areas. All doors are secured by key codes and our licensed teachers are well-trained in safety protocols. We also have an SRO on duty each day.
In addition to the indoor & outdoor playgrounds, we also provide a separate outdoor playground for the 18 months to 2 year olds.

You may enroll your child any day(s) Monday through Friday providing there is space available. Anything less than 5 days will be enrolled into a Part Time class unless extenuating circumstances are approved by the director. The preschool hours are 7:45 am to 2:30 pm. There is a 10 minute grace period until 2:40 when children are then walked down to aftercare.
Payments are due by the 1st of each month for the upcoming month. A drop box will be provided. The first payment will be due August 1st (the first day of school). In winter months, if the preschool is closed due to inclement weather, you will be credited on your next invoice.
$6.00 for any part of an hour beginning at 2:45
Before Care Only for full week -$30
After Care Only for full week - caps at $45
Before/After Care for full week - caps at $55
The cost is $6 for ANY part of the hour beginning with the 2:45 – 3:45 hour. (For example: a child picked up anytime between 2:45 – 3:45 will be charged $5, if picked up between 3:45 – 4:45 the charge is $10). Charges should be paid on the last day of the week that your child attends. If not paid by Friday, you will receive a courtesy statement the following week with balance due upon receipt. Any Before/After Care balance that is 1 week late, will incur a $10 late fee.
All parents are required to come to the classroom to sign their child in and out of preschool (Rules of Tennessee Department of Human Services Adult and Family Division 1240-4-3). No minor children (must be 18 years old) may come to pick up a preschool child. Any child present after 2:40 will go to After Care. Before & After Care payments are due on the last day of the week that your child attends for that week used.
STARTING TIME- Class time starts at 8:00 am. CCS Preschool is an Academic program. Teachers begin promptly at 8am and it creates a disruption when students enter after this time. It is in your child’s best interest that you have your child at school by the 8:00 am academic starting time, if you wish your child to keep up with their classmates. If your child has a Doctor/Dentist appointment and will arrive later than 10am, we respectfully ask that they not attend that day as they only arrive for lunch, then go straight to nap time.
